COVID-19 Social Contract
I acknowledge that I am aware of certain risks of participating in public events, and that I am choosing to enter the venue my tickets are purchased for. I understand that by leaving my home, I am exposing myself to a greater risk of becoming infected with a coronavirus, or of infecting other people.
Our job at the studio is to teach dance and create an environment where children can thrive. We leave the decisions for each individual's personal health choices up to them. For those who are concerned about being in public and around others, they can make choices that make sense for them, as we do here.
As there is no law we are required to enforce, and as we are not licensed in the practice of medicine, we are not responsible for giving medical advice, such as the wearing of a medical device which covers the face and obstructs breathing. In fact, we would be breaking several laws, including violating individual's personal liberty, if we attempted to enforce such measures.
Guidelines are just that: guidelines.
You are free to follow them if you like.
